Dear Ones, A
few days ago, as I was clearing files, I came across some very old, yellowed pages that were hand typed by Dr. Sue Sikking.
It contained her thoughts on meditation and at the bottom of the page she had written in her distinctive
handwriting, “What thought can do, thought can undo.” Simple and profound. “What are you thinking? Is it what you want?” is another favorite phrase of Dr. Sue’s.
So, what are you thinking? You are creating your world with your thoughts. You know this and yet
are you wondering why your life is full of strife, worry and confusion? Are you silently
sabotaging yourself by repeatedly thinking thoughts of lack, limitation, fear of what is to come or how things will
turn out? Check yourself. Become more conscious of what it is you are actually thinking and subsequently creating for yourself.
Write down throughout the day your wandering, subliminal thoughts and see how many times you catch yourself having doubt and
negativity on a subconscious level and bring it up to the light of day. The old adage “Change your thoughts, change
your life” holds true- but only if you become acutely aware of what your thoughts actually are. You may “think”
you know but you may also surprise yourself by what is running through your mind on a subconscious level. Most
of us don’t want to hear that we are responsible for everything we bring into our experience. We get a little
defensive and say “I wouldn’t do that to myself!” or “Why would I create that?” We
would prefer to blame someone or something ‘out there’ for creating the problems and challenges we face. The truth is that
when we accept that we have the power to become a magnet for our good instead of a magnet for things we don’t want,
we experience the joy and freedom that we desire. It is said that the “truth will set you free”. The truth
is that you are a magnificent creation and have power beyond your own understanding. Put your thoughts to work for you and
create a beautiful and joyous experience for yourself. It is that simple and that profound. Blessings, Lee
